SeaSpine & L+L Printers Partner to Produce Dynamic Wall Displays

Partnering with our customers to create awe inspiring graphic installations is one of the most rewarding aspects of our business. L+L worked with the marketing team at SeaSpine, a spinal implant designer and manufacturer, to create two displays at their Carlsbad, California facility, featuring their mission and vision statements.

Success begins with careful planning, so the project launched with a site-survey performed by L+L’s installation team. Careful measurements were made and provided to SeaSpine’s designer and L+L’s prepress department. Existing construction was examined, and it was determined that HP PVC Free wallpaper would be the ideal wall covering. It is adhesive backed and durable but does little to no damage to the existing surface when removed.

¼” extruded acrylic mounted with 1” brushed stainless steel standoffs were specified to give the installation a feeling of dimension, providing tremendous visual appeal and elegance. The rear panels are backed with styrene to make them opaque, while the front panels are semi-translucent. The text was printed in white ink using our EFI VUTEk GS3250 LX Pro printer.
